Introduction

1. This update report covers the activities undertaken by AMDIN in the period May - November 2006, following the first AMDIN Update Report made to the First Ministerial Bureau meeting held in Abuja, Nigeria from 25-26 April 2006.


2. At the conclusion of the Abuja meeting, the Ministerial Bureau recommended that AMDIN convene an extraordinary meeting of its Executive Council aimed at implementing key activities identified by the first Executive Council meeting of November 2005.
