Last updated on: 2009-04-30 Diploma in Humanitarian AssistanceThe Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine in association with the Graduate School of Public and Development Management (P&DM) at the University of the Witwatersrand and Medecins Sans Frontiers is offering a Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance from 20 July to 28 August 2009 in Johannesburg.
The programme consists of core modules on key humanitarian issues plus a choice of specialist modules, which are:
- Public Health in Humanitarian Emergencies
- Technical Support in Humanitarian Emergencies
- Policy, Advocacy, Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law
The course is designed and taught by experts from leading NGOs, international organisations and academic institutions.
